Taipei: Take 2

Angela, Ria and I headed into the Taipei area with the intention of visiting the waterfalls near Pingxi but after some issues with the train we decided to switch plans and spend the day doing random things in Taipei. It ended up being a great decision. We went to a food market, saw some Monets at the History Museum, had delicious street food for lunch, visited the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, visiting Taipei 101 and went to the night market. It was a great day of doing random things with great friends.
A tree lined boulevard in Taipei

We saw dozens of Monet paintings. They were beautiful!

Lunch! Some sort of bun filled with meat and vegetables. Amazing.

This tree grew up through the sidewalk, floor of the building and then out of the roof of the building. It was so cool.

This couple was so cute

This Christmas tree was made of hundreds of shiny gold teddy bear faces. It was very Taiwanese.
